Finance Committee Meeting

Call to Order:
The Yuma County Airport Authority, Inc. (YCAA) Finance Committee Meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at 12:00PM on July 25, 2017 in the Yuma International Airport Conference Room, 2191 E. 32nd Street, Suite 218, Yuma, Arizona 85365. The Presiding officer was Jonathan Matheus, Chairman.
FINANCE COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT WERE:
Jonathan Matheus, Treasurer
Linda Morgan, Secretary
Dr. Brian Cullen, DMD, Director (joined the meeting at 12:12PM)
Randall Nelson, Director (exited the meeting at 12:55PM)
FINANCE COMMITTEE MEMBERS ABSENT WERE:
Stan Gourley, 1st Vice President
Albert Gardner, Director
ALSO PRESENT WERE:
Gladys Wiggins, Airport Director
Gerald Hinkle, Jr., Chief Financial Officer
Ken Scott, ASN Volunteer
REGULAR AGENDA
1) Finance Committee discussion and recommendation on the proposed budget for the Yuma County Airport Authority FY18.
The Airport Director, Gladys Wiggins provided the Committee with a detailed review of all elements of the proposed FY18 Budget. Discussions ensued related to various items of revenue and expenses necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Authority.
Ms. Wiggins informed the Committee that a few line items in the proposed budget would likely be improved from the current version as we move closer to its final consideration, including a move from a budgeted position for an intern in our Marketing team presented in this version to a full time position.
The Committee was supportive of the proposed budget overall and agreed to meet on Tuesday August 22nd beginning at 12pm for a final review of the proposed FY18 Budget and related Budget Narrative for consideration of a recommendation to the YCAA Board of Directors.

There being no further business before the Board the meeting adjourned at 1:26PM .
