ROBERT (ROB) INGOLD
Mr. Ingold is the President of the Yuma County Airport Authority. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2006. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona in 1967 and is the owner of Real Estate Development Co. and a managing partner of Ingold Family Investments, LLC. He was formerly the President and general manager of Coors, Miller and Import Beer wholesaler for Yuma and La Paz County and past President of Arizona Western College Foundation
Mr. Ingold has held several positions on the Yuma Regional Medical Center Board as has served on the boards of the Arizona/Mexico Commission, Yuma County Chamber of Commerce, Yuma Family YMCA, Arizona Wholesale Liquor and Beer Assoc., Rio Colorado Commission, Cultural Council of Yuma/Yuma Art Center, Yuma Crossing Park. National Beer Wholesalers Assoc., University of Arizona Foundation, Hospice of Yuma, Greater Yuma Economic Development Corp., Yuma Crossing Park, Caballeros de Yuma, American Heart Association, United Way of Yuma, and the Yuma Executives Association.
Mr. Albert Gardner is the 1st Vice President of the Yuma County Airport Authority. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2007 and is active in the General Aviation community. He is an avid aviator and flies an RV-10. Mr. Gardner is a retired electrical engineer of Ford Aerospace, RCA and IBM. Mr. Gardner obtained his Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He obtained his Private Pilot Certificate in 1968, and his Commercial Certificate & Instrument Rating 1971. Mr. Gardner is a member of the local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association and a member of the Aircraft Owner and Pilot's Association.
RONALD (RON) RICE
Mr. Rice is the 2nd Vice President of the Yuma County Airport Authority. He served on the Board of Directors from 2002 through 2009. After eight years of distinguished service he retired for one year and was then re-elected to the Board in 2011. Mr. Rice attended Arizona State University where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business. He also attended Northern Arizona University working toward a MBA. He is a member of the Caballeros De Yuma, Yuma Executive Association, Yuma Golf and Country Club. He is also a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Yuma County Fair Commission and he volunteers at the Airports Military Comfort Center. Mr. Rice has owned several businesses in Yuma and has over twenty years of experience in the agricultural industry including farming.
Mr. Walz is the Treasurer of the Yuma County Airport Authority.Mr. Walz has been on the Board of Directors since January 2011. Mr. Walz graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Accounting. He later received his MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix. He is a member of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce, and the Yuma Community Food Bank. He is the President and CEO of Yuma Regional Medical Center and has been in a healthcare leadership role for over thirty years.
Ms. Rhea is the Secretary of the Yuma County Airport Authority. She has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2009. She is current the incoming president of the Yuma Rotary Club, member of Yuma Executive Association, the Yuma Innkeepers Association Vice Chair and member of the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce and the Arizona Hotel & Lodging Association. She is the General Manager of the Award Winning Hampton Inn & Suites Yuma and is in the process of obtaining her private pilot’s license.
WILLIAM (BILL) GRESSER
Mr. Gresser is the Past President of the Yuma County Airport Authority. He has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2004. He was a member of the City of Yuma Industrial Development Authority, The Yuma County Industrial Development Authority, President of the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce Board, Amberly’s Place Board, Caballeros de Yuma ,The Foundation of YRMC Board, Yuma Crossing Park Board, President of Lower Colorado Chapter, Arizona Hospitality and Restaurant Assoc., President of Yuma Orchestra Assoc., President of Yuma Executive Assoc., Yuma Friends of University Medical Center, Yuma Town Hall and Yuma Golf & Country Club.
Mr. Gresser was born in New York City and moved to AZ 1980. He then moved to Yuma 1990. He and his wife Judy have owned and managed Papa-San Rice Bowl since 1993, overall winner 2007 Great Place to Work. He was awarded Yuma County Chamber of Commerce "Member of the Month" twice and Small Business of the Year.
In 1962, Mr. Gresser received a BA in Education with a major in languages from Niagara University. In 1977, he completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Graduate School of Business
LARRY GOULD, PhD
Dr. Gould has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2010. He has a Doctorate in Sociology with minors in Criminal Justice and Experimental Statistics, a Masters and Bachelors in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University. Dr. Gould graduated first in his class from the Louisiana State University Police Training Academy, the Louisiana State Training Academy and the Louisiana State University – Law Enforcement Management Institute. He has also attended the American Association of Higher Education Management School and is a graduate of the Wharton School for Executive Education. Dr. Gould is a member of the Yuma Rotary and the Western Social Science Association. He also serves on the boards for both the Yuma Chamber of Commerce and the Yuma County Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority. He is the Associate Vice President and Campus Executive Officer of the Yuma Branch Campus of Northern Arizona University.
EDWARD (ED) WHITEHEAD
Mr. Whitehead has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2009. He is Arizona native born in Stanfield, AZ and lived in Yuma since 1975. Mr. Whitehead is the owner of Ed Whitehead Tire Country. He is a Sunrise Optimist Board Member, A member Tire Industry Association and Independent Tire Dealers Group of America.
Mr. Hager began his term of service to the Board of Directors in January 2011. Mr. Hager graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University with a degree in Human Resources Management and earned a dual major Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Stony Brook in Business and Psychology. He is a DoD certified Disaster Contingency Planner, California State certified HAZMAT Manager/Disaster Response Manager, and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor. He served 25 years in the US Navy, primarily as a joint staff operations officer, retiring at the rank of Captain. He then joined Honda of America Manufacturing as a Senior Cost Team Leader for Prototype Development and New Business Analysis; responsible for development of several Acura and high performance ATV models, retiring again in 2009. Mr. Hager is currently an associate professor of Business at Arizona Western College and a lifetime member of the American Legion, Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and Navy League.
Mr. Gourley joined the Board of Directors in January 2011. Previously he was an Army Aviation Safety Officer and later attended courses at the University of Southern California on helicopter accident investigation. He has attended AAAE seminars on signage, Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting, construction oversight and funding, and United States Army Installation Management Command conferences on airport and airspace management. He earned a US Army Corps of Engineers certificate on pavement evaluation and repairs and a Defense Contract Management Agency rating for Aviation construction/service contracting oversight. Since 1968, Mr. Gourley has flown helicopters and airplanes in both the civilian and military arena. At Yuma Proving Ground he served for ten years in airfield management. For more than ten years, he was a Yuma County Juvenile Court Hearing Officer, and for over fifteen years, a Yuma County 4-H Shooting Sports Project leader and Certified Volunteer.
DR. STEWART HAMILTON
Dr. Hamilton has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2012. He is originally from Scotland and moved to Yuma in 2002 to take the Vice President Medical Affairs position at the Yuma Regional Medical Center. Dr. Hamilton is a Certified Physician Executive, Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Utilization Review / Quality Assurance and Medical Management and has Masters Degrees in Nuclear Medicine and Administrative Medicine He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, AOPA and State Trauma Board.
ROBERT (BOB) CORBETT
Mr. Corbett has been a member of the Board of Directors since January 2012. He attended the College of San Mateo California and University of Arizona. He later taught at Pima College in Tucson and Arizona Western College in Yuma. Mr. Corbett served seven plus years as a Firefighter and Inspector for the City of Tucson Fire Department. He had a Construction Company he started in 1974 which is still owned and operated by his Son & Daughter. He is currently retired. Mr. Corbett is a former member of the Optimist Club of Yuma and Rotary Club of Page Arizona. He is a licensed pilot and he learned to fly here at Yuma Airport in 1980. He currently flies an A36 Bonanza.
