    Call to Order:
    The Yuma County Airport Authority, Inc. (YCAA) Annual Meeting of the Board of Directors was called to order at 4:00PM on January 9, 2018 in the Yuma International Airport Conference Room, 2191 E. 32nd Street, Suite 218, Yuma, Arizona 85365. The Presiding officer was Ronald Rice, President.

    YCAA DIRECTORS PRESENT WERE:
    Ronald Rice, President
    Stan Gourley, 1st Vice President
    Dean Hager, 2nd Vice President
    Jonathan Matheus, Treasurer
    Linda Morgan, Secretary
    Albert Gardner, Director
    Eric Saltzer, Director
    Randall Nelson, Director
    Russell Jones, Director
    William Fox, Director

    YCAA DIRECTORS ABSENT WERE:
    Dr. Brian Cullen, DMD, Director

    ALSO PRESENT WERE:
    Gerald Hinkle, Jr., Chief Financial Officer
    Jason Frost, Chief Technology Officer
    Mark Workman, Director of Operations
    Andrea Lopez, Executive Assistant
    Sandra Bailey, Finance and HR Specialist
    Gen Grosse, Property/Community Relations

    CALL TO THE PUBLIC
    There was no Public Comments.

    ANNUAL MEETING

    1) The YCAA President shall chair the Annual Election of Officers for the Yuma County Airport Authority. Discussion, nominations and election of 2018 Executive Officers for the YCAA Board of Directors.

    Mr. Rice opened the floor for nominations for President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.

    PRESIDENT
    Mr. Gourley made a motion to nominate Mr. Rice as President. Mr. Nelson seconded the motion. The Board voted to affirm Mr. Rice as President. The vote was unanimous.

    1st VICE PRESIDENT
    Mr. Hager made a motion to nominate Mr. Matheus as 1st Vice President. Mr. Gardner seconded the motion.
    Mr. Gourley then made a motion to nominate Mr. Gardner as 1st Vice President. Mr. Nelson seconded that motion.

    Due to having two nominees, the Board cast ballots. In the first round of ballots, the result was a tie. The Board cast ballots for a second time which also resulted in a tie. Prior to the third ballot process, Mr. Matheus removed himself as a nominee. There was a vote to affirm Mr. Gardner as 1st Vice President. The vote was unanimous.

    2nd VICE PRESIDENT
    Mr. Gourley made a motion to nominate Mr. Matheus as 2nd Vice President. Mr. Matheus declined the opportunity to become a nominee. There was no second.

    Mr. Gourley made a motion to nominate Mr. Nelson as 2nd Vice President. Mr. Matheus seconded the motion.

    Mr. Hager made a motion to nominate Ms. Morgan as 2nd Vice President. Mr. Gardner seconded the motion.

    Due to having two nominees, the Board cast ballots. The result was in favor of Ms. Morgan. The Board voted to affirm the result of the ballot process and the vote was unanimous.

    TREASURER
    Mr. Gourley made a motion to nominate Mr. Saltzer as Treasurer. Mr. Jones seconded the motion.
    The Board voted to affirm Mr. Saltzer as Treasurer, the vote was unanimous.

    SECRETARY
    Mr. Gourley made a motion to nominate Mr. Jones as Secretary. Mr. Hager seconded the motion.
    The Board voted to affirm Mr. Jones as Secretary, the vote was unanimous.

    Mr. Hager made a motion to adopt the election results as tabulated/affirmed. Mr. Gourley seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously.

    The following Officers were elected.

    Ronald Rice – 2018 YCAA President
    Albert Gardner - 2018 YCAA 1st Vice President
    Linda Morgan - 2018 YCAA 2nd Vice President
    Eric Saltzer- 2018 YCAA Treasurer
    Russell Jones – 2018 YCAA Secretary

    2) There was no unfinished business

    3) There was no new business

    4) There being no further business before the Board the meeting adjourned at 4:11PM.
