Call to Order:
CALL TO ORDER
The Yuma County Airport Authority, Inc. (YCAA) Finance Committee Meeting was called to order at 8:33AM on June 11, 2019 in the Yuma International Airport Conference Room, 2191 E. 32nd Street, Suite 218, Yuma, Arizona 85365. The Presiding officer was Eric Saltzer Committee Chairman.

REGULAR AGENDA
1) June 11, 2019 at 8:30AM Finance Committee discussion and possible recommendation on the proposed amendment to the FY19 Budget.
Ms. Brown, Airport Director described how two events have caused our revenues to significantly exceed those originally planned in the Adopted FY19 budget. First, the unexpected lease of the Pappy Boyington hangar to a new tenant, rather than experiencing a period without lease revenues and second, the lease of the Joe Foss hangar to AQST on a long term lease.
Ms. Brown went over the revenues contained in the Proposed Amended FY19 Budget in some detail with the committee totaling over $256,000 of revenues in excess of the adopted budget. After explaining the expenditures contained in the Proposed Amended FY19 Budget, Mr. Gourley described direction from the Strategic Planning Committee meeting held June 10, 2019 to invest in the full cost of the design of runway improvements for Somerton Airport rather than the $15,000 contained in the Amended FY19 Budget as Proposed.
The consensus of the Finance Committee is to recommend the Board of Directors adopt the Proposed Amended FY19 Budget with a single modification. The Committee directed staff to increase the “Pave Somerton Airport” line item from $15,000 to $22,100 and reduce the “Capital Outlay” line item from $93,394 to $86,294.
There being no further business before the Board the meeting adjourned at 9:08AM.
