Call to Order:
CALL TO ORDER
The Yuma County Airport Authority, Inc. (YCAA) Elections Committee Meeting was called to order at 12:00 PM on Oct 15, 2009 in the Yuma International Airport Conference Room, 2191 E. 32nd Street, Suite 218, Yuma, Arizona 85365.
YCAA MEMBERS PRESENT WERE:
Karl Moedl President
Rob Ingold 2nd Vice President
Harry Hengl, Director
Jeanine Rhea, Director
ALSO PRESENT WERE:
Mr. Williams, Airport Director
Gerald Hinkle, Jr., Chief Financial Officer
Andrea Lopez, Executive Assistant
Gladys Wiggins, Airport Operations Director
AGENDA
Discussion and Update on Election procedures for the November Board Meeting
Mr. Williams briefed that as required in the YCAA By-Laws, this Committee Meeting is for the election committee to establish their desired goals and procedures. A further Election Committee Meeting has been scheduled for Noon on Wednesday, November 4 to review the applications.
This goal this year is to elect five Directors. Mr. Gresser and Mr. Gardner will be seeking re-election. New members will be recruited for 3 positions including candidates for Mr. Magrino and Mr. Rice whose current three year term is expiring and also for the position vacated by Mr. Israel.
There are three current applications available for review. The committee will actively recruit other candidates to stand as potential Board Directors. The committee decided not to use applicants from last year.
Mr. Magrino and Rice are approaching the end of their third term and will not be eligible to stand for re-election.
After some discussion the election committee directed staff to place an advertisement in The Sun Newspaper to recruit potential new Board members.

There being no further business before the Committee the meeting adjourned at 1:10PM.
